I started my search that afternoon slowing down to 40 mph and looking along the side but I saw nothing. I looked again the following morning and noticed something but when I went back by and slowed down to pick it up but I was only able to find the case.

Wednesday morning I looked again and saw something that looked like my iPhone but when I came back by and stopped I found nothing. Then finally on Thursday I slowed down saw what I was looking for and stopped with success. I finally found the phone.

Unfortunately when I hooked it up to my computer nothing happened, no start up screen, no recognition from the computer that anything was connected. So I guess I can rule this as an unintentional iPhone homicide.

OK so I realize I didn’t get an iPhone 4 but I’m still suppose to get a new coffee maker and I so need coffee.

This is about as far as I can get before the apple store telling me ‘Your request couldn’t be processed’.

Oh how I need a new phone, of the i variety. Too bad Mr. Jobs won’t cooperate.

Where is the genesis for this thought? Every now and then it happens to me where I hear a song that’s like that scent you smell reminding you of something from long ago. Like eating something you haven’t eaten since you were a kid and suddenly you’re back there again.

It really makes me wish there was something like that out there that could remind us all of when we felt the best in our lives and by doing so make us that way again. A standout example to change what we feel about the world. Maybe I’m too much the dreamer.

I started writing this about ‘American Idol’ but I guess what I’m really writing about is the ability we all have to become emotionally involved in an inspiration. We all keep our eye out for it.

What else have I been thinking about lately? Communication and the lack everyone has of it. So much of the time we listen but we don’t listen enough because there’s no time to. I’m calling time out until we understand each other. Stop saying ‘You don’t understand what I’m talking about’ and stop and listen to what the other person has to say. And most of all stop listening to the media. Start listening to your neighbor again. All of them, individually, are really down deep the same. We are all afraid, we all dream, we all love, we all lie because we all dream we all love we are all afraid.

Mainly, I just need to pick up my guitar, or sit down at the piano, and learn until I know.

OK, a quick search and I got back out of the first 2 pages of results 5 out of 20 were blog posts, and most of the others were about the Staind song ‘It’s been a while’ .

back to the subject at hand

It has been a while since I like at my last post and it says September. I could make the excuse that I have been too busy and that would be partially true. but it’s also true that I haven’t really forced myself into talking about anything and while others seem to be prolific in their ability to verboze (I just made that misspelling of verbose a verb, sue me) I have spent way too much time investigating the ‘Next Big Thing’.

Now that I have officially decided what the ‘Next Big Thing’ is I will start to be much more prolific on my write-iosity (deal with it). Here are my two hints. Something Old: Objective C . and Something Newer: GRAILS.

Anyway, lets end this with an ending that is probably even more used in blog posts. More to come.
