Facebook has apparently loosened their acceptable user policies. I recently received a request from a member of the undead. I accepted the request and realized that by doing so I have ushered in a new era in communication. The dead to the living via an electronic medium.
Here is an excerpt from one of his posts:
What’s Black and White and Dead All Over?
Yes, I KNOW Facebook isn’t a book of faces, like a menu. I understand what it is and how to use it, thankyouverymuch.
Maybe I should use Twitter? YouTube provided mixed results, as everyone assumed it was all special effects and corn syrup. Really, now? Like I have nothing better to do with my time than find hapless wanderers in the woods and videotape consuming their flesh?
Twitter’s one-liners, though, and I doubt I can keep my rambling, shambling, gambling self on the short side of 200 characters. There’s too much to say, to do, to experience. MySpace is fine and dandy, but I was never great at designing. Nah. Facebook it’ll be.
I hope to blog regularly – Mondays will be autobiographical, and I’ll try to provide FAQs about this unreal unlife; Wednesdays, I’ll take questions, provide advice, and feedback on current events. Fridays are wild cards. Three posts a week will be about all I can muster, as libraries tend to shun anyone with a bone on the outside. Elitist jerks.
Here’s hoping I can make some connections for potential meet, greet, and maybe eats. Time will tell, and I’ve got more of that than you do.
